Origens Restaurant combines the best of Beirã, Duriense and Transmontana “cuisine” traditions. In each dish, we offer a bit of history and revive memories of the past, the result of Dona Anabela’s accumulated knowledge throughout her life dedicated to traditional cuisine. Transmontana from scratch, she has been cooking our restaurant for over 30 years.

There are several specialties, such as the “goat” in a wood oven, the pork cheeks in red wine with alheira puree, or the bizarre pork tenderloins with salpicão rice. And because a good dining experience always has a matching preamble, we suggest, for starters the little fish from the garden or our tripe with sauces. For dessert, try the apple pie or indulge you in our poached pear in two wines with ice cream ball.

Here, everything is designed with authenticity and passion, in perfect symbiosis with the products of the educational garden, picked by the hands of the Sr. Manuel. Our ingredients are always fresh to ensure your tasting experience is authentic and memorable.

Every month we guarantee the use of the best seasonal products. Simply because we love good food, we know that its ingredients come from our own organic garden and other small local producers. That way, we know that every product is consistent in taste and texture and that’s what our restaurant is all about. This is one of the main reasons why you should try our menu.

To speak of “Terroir” is to speak of the territory, in the case of the Douro, with its specific characteristics from the slope to the schist terrain. The Terroir Bar is a pleasant space for celebration, whether with family, friends or business. It combines informality with relaxation, creating a truly intimate atmosphere. It is a beautiful interior space with two outer corners: a terrace decorated with a kiwi branch, and the wine tasting table inserted in the vineyard. It can be adapted to various types of events, such as team building, family celebrations, festivities, gastronomic and wine events, cultural exhibitions and business meetings.

This is the ideal place to celebrate life with friends, whether it’s a wine tasting, an unforgettable cocktail, or even a sunset party at the end of the day. Here you can watch the magnificent and unique sunset of this region, with a privileged view of the Douro, while sipping our pleasant cocktail ( Porto Tonic).

So you can have a truly immersive wine experience, there is a tasting table inserted in the vineyard, which works as an extension of the Bar. Here, we evoke the wine, the territory and the landscape so that you can feel the Douro in all its fullness.

After a swim, there’s nothing better than a visit to our Pool Bar to celebrate the occasion. Here you can try various types of simple, nutritious and healthy meals. Our menus include salads, sandwiches, and various types of natural juices.

And because a good stay is made of unique moments of conviviality and fun, with family or friends, we invite you to visit our playful area of Corimbo Bar, where you can try various activities: table games, table tennis or table football, a moment to celebrate with those you love the most.
